Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt
This companion guide to the 60-hour Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt training course focuses on managing quality projects using the fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. It helps you form a Six Sigma team, work successfully on Six Sigma projects, and support Six Sigma Black Belts.
Quality concepts are not new, but the need for a good process is more important than ever. Six Sigma Quality is a philosophical perspective that all work can be classified as a process and can be defined, measured, analyzed, improved and controlled (DMAIC).
Six Sigma provides a standardized methodology with a common language to strengthen the decision making process. Its principles consist of problem solving techniques, data collection and data analysis, reduction of process variation, process capability and cost analysis. Lean topics include the concepts of the elimination of waste and reduction of cycle time in organizational processes.
This course incorporates generally accepted project management concepts, tools and techniques. It is compliant with the Project Management Institute’s, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), Fifth Edition.
