Diane Buckley-Altwies

Diane Buckley-Altwies, CEO of Core Performance Concepts, has been managing software development projects for nearly 30 years as a program manager or project manager in the insurance, financial services, and healthcare industries. She has co-authored three books: Achieve PMP® Exam Success:  A Concise Study Guide for the Busy Project Manager, Achieve CAPM® Exam Success, A Concise Study Guide and Desk Reference, and Program Management Professional:  A Certification Study Guide with Best Practices for Maximizing Business Results.

She continues to teach and consult for organizations on various program management, project management, process improvement and business analysis topics and develops advanced courseware topics for project managers.  She is a lively and engaging speaker at professional meetings and symposia across the country and was honored in 2013 as a Fellow of PMI Orange County, CA. 

She is a PMP and has an MBA in Finance and Marketing and a BA in Production Management, both from the University of South Florida.

Janice Y. Preston

Janice Y. Preston, Former COO of Core Performance Concepts, has managed, trained, or consulted on projects for more than 35 years. She has worked with companies in information technology, medical products, financial services, defense, pharmaceuticals, automotive, real estate, and health care. She is an instructional designer and developer of more than 40 training courses in project management, risk management, communications, business process improvement, project leadership, earned value, and cost control. Her training courses are noted for being fun and active.

Ms. Preston has co-authored two books Achieve PMP® Exam Success and Achieve CAPM® Exam Success and was a contributor to the PMBOK® Guide from 1996 to 2008. She has been active in leadership at the Project Management Institute in Risk Management and at PMI Orange County CA, where she is a Fellow. She has an MBA in Finance and Accounting and is a PMP and licensed CPA.

Craig Feldman, MBA, PMP

CRAIG FELDMAN, MBA, PMP, is a technology program manager at The Walt Disney Company. With more than ten years of experience leading and influencing complex projects in the areas of ticketing, access control, and point-of-sale systems, Craig brings significant real-world skills to the study of project management.

 

 


Diane White, MA, PMP

DIANE WHITE, MA, PMP, is a program manager with a major wireless communications company and was a member of the Worldwide PMI Board of Directors. She has integrated all aspects and phases of projects including purchasing, software development, testing, conversion, implementation and process improvement. Diane is a highly rated instructor with a background in instructional design.  Diane has been on the board of the PMI Tampa Bay Chapter for five years serving as the chapter President and Vice President of Communications.

 


John T. Tracy, MBA, MS, PMP

JOHN TRACY has over thirty years of experience in software development, quality assurance, accounting, project management, and program management. His experience includes executive level consulting, P&L responsibility and organizational design and he was the CIO of the 52nd largest U.S. school district. His broad array of experiences bring life to abstract concepts in class.

Jan Birkelbach, MBA, PMP

JAN BIRKELBACH, MBA, PMP, started his career in the Peace Corp in Thailand and has managed business process improvement projects, computer hardware and software integration and deployment, strategic marketing initiatives and operational business planning. He devotes special attention to the expectations of participant stakeholders through thoughtful leadership and experiential learning techniques to help ensure effective learning experiences.


Michael Giacalone, ITIL, MBA, PMP

MICHAEL GIACALONE, ITIL, MBA, PMP, is a management and services professional with more than 25 years of diverse financial, operations, services management, system implementation and testing experience.  He has successfully implemented solutions in the transportation, utilities, financial services, and small-to-large software and service providers. He is a member of PMI and is the former Tampa Bay Chapter Vice President of Professional Development.

W. CHARLES SLAVEN, MBA PMP CSSMBB CMP CPA is the Director, Lean Deployment and Continuous Improvement for The Christ Hospital Health Network. Charlie is known in the industry as an excellent speaker, trainer and subject matter expert.  He has over 40 years of experience in the fields of systems and software development and implementation, project management, quality management systems, consulting, training and financial auditing.  Charlie is again the Past President, PMI Southwest Ohio, and has an MBA, Accountancy, and Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, Finance, from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, USA.  He is very active in the Project Management Institute where he teaches the PMPand PgMP classes regularly. 


Carol Kacinko, MBA, PMP, Graduate Certificate in Project Management, LSSGB, PMI-PBA

CAROL KACINKO, MBA, PMP, PM Graduate Certicate, LSSGB, PMI-PBA has over 35 years managing diverse IT business protocols for global companies worldwide, being proficient in establishing Project Management Office’s (PMO), infrastructures, and implementing policies, procedures and processes with continuous improvement initiatives.  She has led multi-million dollar, multi-year projects; one awarded the ‘Smithsonian Institute Award for Technological Innovation’; as well as helping establish a PMO where the CIO was recognized in the ‘Top 10 CIO’s of the Year’ for Governance.  She has provided services to Fortune 500 companies and Federal Government Agencies.  As a top instructor for both IBM and Oracle, she has also taught at various universities, including the University of Miami and Richland College in Dallas, currently teaching Project Management.  

Carol received both her Graduate Certificate in Project Management and an Executive MBA focused on Project Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. Carol volunteers for various non-profits and she is also a caregiver.  In 2008 and in 2011, both she and her husband were recognized by the Upper Tampa Bay Area Chamber with "Volunteer of the Year" awards for their service.
